Donald Robertson

Untraditional from the very start, Donald found his own way in the creative industry. An art school dropout, he landed his very first gig as an artist-in-residence at MAC Cosmetics in the 80s, where he helped launch Viva Glam, a collection which raised millions for the fight against AIDS. His next move was to New York City, where he held the title of creative director at several top magazines including Glamour, Marie Claire & Cosmopolitan. The rest is history, as they say.

Although Robertson has been a longtime creative fixture, his Instagram social media presence is what propelled him & his zeitgeist works to international fame. Since starting his Instagram in 2012, Robertson has amassed over 200k followers & has been compared to the likes of Andy Warhol.

The father of five is from Willowdale, Ontario and now resides in Dallas, Texas, has “written off the whole sleep thing,” and has also published two children’s books, including Mitford and the Fashion Zoo.
